Brett Leonard

Brett serves as the Senior Director of Client Services for Jayhawk Community Partners and KU Alumni, where he leads strategic initiatives designed to help businesses effectively engage with students, faculty and staff at the university level and KU Alumni around the globe. In this role, Brett oversees partnership development, activation planning, and integrated marketing strategies that strengthen relationships across the Jayhawk community.

Prior to stepping into this position, Brett served as the Director of Business Development for the KU Alumni Association, guiding corporate partnership growth and supporting revenue-generating opportunities at KU Alumni.

Prior to that, Brett spent nearly a decade with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). His work there spanned sales, digital marketing, and advertising operations, including supporting publication processes for GCM Magazine.

Brett holds both a bachelor's degree, a program certificate, and a master’s certificate from the University of Kansas, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional growth.

Brett and his wife, Caitlin, are lifelong Jayhawks and have two dogs.
